A Sisters of Sigmar warband may consist of up to 15 fighters.

Faction rules


All Sisters of Sigmar fighters have access to the following rules:

[Trait] Sigmar’s Blessing

This fighter may call for one of Sigmar's Blessings by spending saved Wyrd Dice:

  • Hearts of Steel: When a fighter is asked to take a Bravery test, you may discard one saved Wyrd Dice to automatically pass the test.
  • Righteous Fury: During this fighter’s activation, after making a hit roll, you may discard one saved Wyrd Dice to turn a hit into a critical hit.
  • Sigmar Protects: During an enemy fighter’s activation, you may discard one saved Wyrd Dice to perform a reaction with this fighter without needing or spending an action to do so.

[Reaction] Martyrdom

A fighter can make this reaction when they suffer enough damage to take them out of action, but before removing them from the battlefield. Add 1 Wyrd Dice to your saved Wyrd Dice. If this fighter has the HERO keyword, add 2 instead. If this fighter has the LEADER keyword, add 3 instead.

When recruiting a Matriarch, you must select one of the following abilities:

[Triple] Words of Healing: Remove (X/2) damage points allocated to each friendly fighter within 6" of this fighter. If you discard a saved wyrd dice, remove (X) damage points instead.

[Triple] Hammer of Sigmar: A fighter can only use this ability if equipped with a Warhammer or Sigmarite Hammer. Add (X/2) to the damage points allocated to enemy fighters by each hit and critical hit from the next melee attack action made by this fighter in this activation.

[Quad] Soulfire: Allocate (X/2) damage points to each visible enemy fighter within 6” of this fighter. If the enemy fighter is a Vampire, Daemon or Zombie, allocate (X) damage points instead.
