Armour
Armour is used to keep the wearer safe when attacked by increasing their Defense characteristic. A fighter may be equipped with one suit of armour, and may carry a shield instead of being equipped with a second melee weapon.
Wizards and armour
A Wizard may never be equipped with armour as wearing metal interferes with their ability to manipulate the Winds of Magic.

Increase the Defense characteristic of the bearer by 2. The bearer can never move further than 4” in a single action.
Light Armour
Increase the Defense characteristic of the bearer by 1.
Shield
Increase the Defense characteristic of the bearer by 1.
