Scenarios

Markers & Tokens

Many scenarios require the players to place 1 or more markers or tokens on the battlefield. Markers are static objects, representing points of interest, while tokens represent objects, tools and treasure that can be carried by fighters. Neither are part of the battlefield, meaning that fighters can move over them and stand upon them. When measuring distances to a marker or token, measure to and from the centre of the marker or token.

Control

A fighter is said to be in control of a marker or token if there are more friendly fighters within 1” of it than there are enemy fighters within 1” of it.

Carrying Tokens

A fighter can pick up a token in its control as a free action. Place the token next to the fighter carrying it, and move the token when the fighter moves. A fighter cannot carry more than one tokens.

Fighters with the BEAST keyword cannot carry tokens at all.

Dropping Tokens

A fighter can drop a carried token as a free action. In addition, a fighter will automatically drop carried tokens if taken out of action. In both cases, the player controlling the fighter places the token back on the battlefield, within 1” of the fighter, before removing the fighter from the battlefield.
